Edit Assistant / Media Manager x2

The Edit Assistant is a key support role within the Chelsea FC post-production team.

The post holder will provide day to day support to the Post-Production team ensuring the flow, cataloguing and delivery of video assets throughout the production process is seamless.
Location – Stamford Bridge 
Hours – Permanent – 35 hours, any 5 from 7 
 

This is an entry level position suited to someone looking to pursue a career in post-production.

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Play Your Part):

  •  Receiving and ingesting footage from both internal and external stakeholders
  •  Naming and cataloguing files with the MAM
  •  Researching footage and providing clip bins to editors and third-parties
  •  Keeping abreast of relevant rights assigned to video content
  •  Logging content and live feeds (as required)
  •  Creating shareable links for projects via Frame.io
  •  Supporting highlights and cut-down edits
  •  Subtitling content for digital and social channels
  •  Supporting wider editing team with tracking music used for wider reporting
  •  Supporting Post-Production team running the day-to-day technical reporting.

  •  Accuracy and attention to detail in all workflows
  •  Ability to work to set deadlines.

 

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:

Essential

  •  Desire to pursue a career in post-production (media management, editing, graphics etc)
  •  Some knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud products – willingness to learn the basics as this will be essential to succeeding in this roles
  •  Basic knowledge of networking.

 

Desirable

  •  Knowledge and interest in football
  •  Knowledge of Avid Media Composer.
