A word about privacy...
We take note of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); however, it’s business as usual here at grapevinejobs.
To explain: We have been obsessive about privacy since we launched the site in 2001.
That’s why we don’t have a CV database, and we don’t ask you for masses of personal information when you sign up (just your name and email address – and a password, which we encrypt). We never advertise the site, and we never buy email lists – so all our users found us themselves and elected to sign up.
If you apply for a job, your details will go to the advertiser, and copies of your cover letter and CV remain on our system for your own and the advertiser’s use for 60 days. Thereafter, they are automatically deleted – and we require our advertisers to do the same, unless they have your permission to do otherwise.
Also, if you sign up for our Job Flash service, you are asked to select the parameters of the roles you are interested in hearing about. This data is used solely by our system to compile Job Flash emails. Full details of your selected parameters and how to unsubscribe from the service or delete your record completely are shown on every email. (Or email us at:
admin@grapevinejobs.co.uk)
Our site uses cookies, which are small text files that are stored on your computer and are solely used to enable our website to recognise you and deliver the functionality of the site.
We do track summary data of how many users look at the details of each job, and how many applications are sent; but we don’t compile any information on individual users.
