Sun Originals is a brand new video production studio making premium series for The Sun, Sun Sport and Fabulous brands. Creating, developing and producing a slate of brand new original shows, the team are helping The Sun reach its next generation of viewers.
Your Role: The role entails casting, location finding, dealing with contributors and on-screen talent, as well as self-op filming on location or in a studio, across a range of formats for YouTube and other platforms.
Day to day you will:
Scout and secure locations suitable for filming, ensuring they align with creative briefs
Cast contributors and on-screen talent, working closely with the Producer to ensure the content is engaging and relevant
Self-operate filming equipment on location or in studio settings to produce high-quality video content
Collaborate with the Producer to develop creative concepts and formats for videos across various platforms, including YouTube and social media
Handle logistics and liaise with contributors and talent to ensure smooth production schedules
Ensure the final videos meet brand and editorial standards, reflecting Fabulous’s tone and voice.
What we are looking for from you:
Experience of working on original entertainment-related content for YouTube or other digital platforms and self-op filming experience is essential
Strong self-operating filming skills, with the ability to work independently on location or in a studio
Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
A creative mindset, with the ability to generate ideas and contribute to the development of engaging video formats
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with contributors, talent, and team members
A passion for women's lifestyle content and a strong understanding of the Fabulous audience.
