Video Production Intern

We have a very exciting opportunity to work as a Video Production Intern within our Creative Department. 

Location: Stadium

Contract: Fixed Term, 12 Months


 The successful candidate will not only be provided with hands on experience in creating and editing video content but also gaining valuable exposure to various aspects of the production process.


As Video Production Intern, you will become an important part of the content team, starting with an onboarding period as part of our ‘Football Video Team’ before later leading on ideation and execution of all Women’s assets across West Ham’s digital channels.


Please note this a full time 12 month contract with an expectation to work certain evenings and weekends.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities:


Assisting in Production;

  • Work to assist the existing ‘Football Video Team’ to deliver video features in line with the club content and channel strategies
  • Lead on both pre-production and post-production Matchday content across men’s, women’s and academy games
  • Support Branded Content Producer on ideation and execution of partner content
  • Manage WHUTV Archive and edit content that marks key anniversaries in the Club’s history.


Collaborating with teams;

  • Collaborate ideas with the team about the video content and how it aligns within wider club campaigns
  • Research and feedback to the wider team on new content ideas, techniques and trends from around the Sports business
  • Build strong professional relationships with both players and staff.


Person Specification:


Education/Skills/Experience;

The successful candidate will have; (Essential/Desirable)

  • One Year's experience using Adobe Premiere Pro (E)
  • One Year's experience using Sony Cinema Line Cameras (Fx3/Fx6/Fx9) (E)
  • One Year's experience filming live action football (E)
  • Passion and detailed knowledge of Football (Men's/Women's) (E)
  • Experience of using basic lighting and sound equipment (E)
  • Ability to work within a highly-skilled team in an Elite Sporting setting.(E)
  • Happy to work evenings and weekends with a strong work ethic (E)
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.(E)
  • Ability to creates creative solutions to problems (E)
  • Full, clean UK Driving License. (E)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects (D)
  • Understanding of the football content landscape and current trends.(D)
