Assistant Producer (Sport)

As an Assistant Producer, you will help create compelling content that informs and engages audiences. 


You will be part of the team producing content, working with the Producer to cast, film and produce high quality video for various channels and platforms.

Sun Originals is a brand new video production studio making premium series for The Sun, Sun Sport and Fabulous brands. Creating, developing and producing a slate of brand new original shows, the team are helping The Sun reach its next generation of viewers.


Key responsibilities

  • We are looking for a versatile, creative and driven team Assistant Producer to help make videos for our Sports YouTube channel.
  • The role entails casting, location finding, dealing with contributors and on-screen talent, as well as working on location or in a studio with a Producer across a range of sports-related formats for YouTube and other platforms
  • Experience of working on original sports-related content for YouTube or other digital platforms is essential and some second camera filming experience would be desirable. 


Length of service: Three months

Start date: 2/12/2025
