This editing role provides the opportunity to work on both concerts and longform documentaries, for broadcast, social and often theatrical use. Our chosen candidate must have good knowledge of post production workflows and server systems, to play an integral role in overseeing the day to day running of our in-house facility.
Editing at our facility in Kings Cross, the successful candidate would be working closely with our internal post production team, Creative Producers and Directors, providing advice and solutions along the way to bring together a high standard editorial, from start to finish.

EXPERIENCE WITH:
- Adobe Premier Pro
- Avid Media Composer
- DaVinci Resolve
- After Effects is a benefit

Who you are:
- Minimum 5 years editing experience
- Knowledge of Avid Media Composer, Adobe Creative Cloud & Davinci Resolve
- Rushes capture, codec & data capacity requirements for shoots
- Knowledge of capture codecs and camera specification requirements to comply with final delivery spec
- Liaising with production teams on final delivery requirements, and establishing a post production workflow, best suited to taking the project from offline through to online & delivery
- Knowledge of colour space requirements
- Knowledge of mixed frame rates timelines & how best to handle through to online
- Set up of projects with the edit team
- Sync & group clips setup, multicam prep
- Editing longform multicam/live performance, documentaries and Sizzles
- Knowledge of XML, EDL, AAF for sharing timelines to external post production facilities
- Communicating with external production facilities on post production workflow.
Online workflow:
- Receiving graded footage back from external facilities
- Building credits sequences, taking into account text safety specifications and font design.
- Building and creating final deliverables.
- QC fixing knowledge
- Managing conform workflow
- Working closely with external GFX artists.
Audio workflows:
- Knowledge of audio workflows, AAFs, Stereo/5.1 mix requirements, broadcast/full range audio delivery.
- Conforming audio back to picture, matching edits and automation.

- Working with 3rd party support to diagnose and fix technical issues with storage/edit workstations & edit equipment.
