PA and Office Manager

runVT winner of best post house at this year’s Broadcast Awards are looking to fill the position of a PA and Office Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinating travel arrangements and restaurant reservations
  • Calendar Management for MD and Director of Operations
  • Assisting Director of Operations
  • Monitor and control office inventory for all sites
  • Working with colleagues in support functions within the business to ensure the studio operates smoothly
  • Setting and maintaining standards for the facility environment, ensuring team live up to these and that visitors and staff have a pleasant and safe workplace within which to operate. Ensure that the buildings are kept clean and tidy and help to foster a culture of tidiness and order in all users of the building
  • Upholding the culture and life of the facility by leading on entertainment, functions and staff perks initiatives.
  • Managing a small team of front-of-house staff, inspiring them to provide visitors and staff with exemplary service and a great experience with us.
  • Ensuring the facility is up to date with its regulatory obligations, including health and safety, fire prevention and security. Ensure all aspects of the site infrastructure is kept in good order, safe and operational adhering to Health and Safety regulations
  • Ensure the site is utilised to optimum effect to support the business needs, actively seeking ways to keep our site operating in an efficient manner
  • Supporting with HR tasks, including contracts, on-boarding and off-boarding staff and freelancers and production team, accounts tasks
  • Managing our work experience candidates
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all suppliers. Liaison with landlord and suppliers, ensuring we get best value for money for all of the facility’s operational needs.
  • Ensure the site is utilised to optimum effect to support the business needs, actively seeking ways to keep our site operating in an efficient manner
  • Handle the creation of records on the database and the generating of asset labels for equipment.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Ability to encourage the team to contribute towards the vision and direction of the business
  • Be detail oriented, technically minded, and able to work individually as well as part of a team
  • A logical approach to problem solving
  • Naturally numerate and have a keen memory
  • A good basic knowledge of the TV broadcast industry is a bonus
  • Must be physically fit
  • A highly motivated individual with an enthusiastic approach
  • Able to work within a team with shared responsibilities and willing to lead the team
  • UK driving licence essential
  • Willing to adapt to the unique nature of the broadcasting business.
