Senior Traffic Manager

We are looking for a Senior Traffic Manager to join our Delivery Team here at Ladbible.

About the Role

The Senior Traffic Manager must be passionate about youth culture and savvy about the advertising and media industry. They must be a problem-solver; someone who moves quickly; has an ability to pivot as needed; and who just wants to make great things happen. We work with some of the UK’s and the World’s biggest brands, and this role will play a pivotal part in supporting our 360 Commercial team in delivering award-winning branded content projects.


The role is part of the Delivery team, and reports into a Group Account Director. This opportunity will own the management of creative resource bookings for all branded content projects from start to finish across LADbible Group’s brands which include: LADbible, Tyla, SPORTbible and the rest of the group.


The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders will be key, as you will work daily with people across Sales, Creative, Production, Client Projects as well as other internal teams, to identify project specifics and specs to ensure the smooth and seamless running of projects and pitch responses. You will champion processes and tools, and bring experience and insight to proactively develop these further as the business grows.

What the opportunity looks like:

  • Have oversight over the creative process - ensuring each campaign has full support from the Creative team
  • Drive clarity around project fundamentals and project briefing by ensuring the team has all the information needed from Client Solutions and other teams to deliver the best work
  • Work with Client Solutions, Creative and Client Projects to optimise resource in order to best support all deal requirements
  • Continuous evaluation of systems and resource processes, and ensure the correct information flows through departments
  • Proactively forecasting freelance as required, and actioning paperwork and budgets accordingly
  • Evaluate deals and deal size historically to provide weekly analysis of deal anomalies so as to early identify issue areas. Provide full quarterly reporting, highlighting full resource analysis per agency patch
  • Make recommendations on resourcing and workflows to increase efficiency, quality and growth.


Working with the Traffic Manager to:

  • Manage the briefing process into the business, provide effective resource planning, and ensuring outputs from the creative team are delivered in a timely and efficient manner
  • Dispatch all jobs to the creative team using our project management system, Float, and raising resource challenges
  • Regularly compile and update team schedules and reports, keeping all relevant departments informed about projects status and revising deadlines where necessary
  • Ensure our files are always up to date and meticulously filed on a daily basis
  • Ensure all liaisons with other departments are efficient, proactive, positive and tactful, building especially strong relationships with key departments and people
  • Act as a brand guardian and champion, and uphold the integrity of the brand and Creative processes to internal and external stakeholders
  • Book project kick off meetings and working sessions with the virtual project team on campaigns
  • Work with the creative team to manage award nominations upfront and the process to identify and resource these.


Skills and experience we’d like you to have:

  • Must have previous experience in Studio, Traffic, or Resource Management, either agency side or in-house
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple briefs and high volumes of traffic at once
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring junior members of staff
  • Great verbal and written communication skills, and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle tight deadlines in a busy environment
  • Ability to self-manage and a willingness to work with different teams
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise based on campaign demands
  • Float experience would be a bonus.
