A senior-level business development opportunity at this highly successful London-based VFX studio.

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a highly successful full-service visual effects studio based in London, specialising in feature films & episodic television.

THE ROLE:

As Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in securing bigger budget projects, repositioning sales strategy around quality over cost, and building long-term partnerships with key industry players.

Responsibilities:

Source clients with higher-budget studio films and high-end TV opportunities, positioning our client as a go-to partner for premium productions.
Shift the company’s sales approach from a price-based model to one centered on quality, innovation, and creative excellence
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their present and future needs
Work closely with VFX team to generate quotes, leading negotiations and closing project contracts
Utilise your own industry connections to proactively pitch our client’s services and drive new business opportunities.

THE PERSON:

With a proven track record in a senior commercial role within the VFX industry, you will demonstrate a strong ability to lead business development efforts and achieve sales targets.

You will also have:

Previous experience of pitching to and closing deals with US film studios and UK high-end drama production companies
Deep understanding of VFX
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
Familiarity with end-to-end production workflows and industry best practices
Exceptional client relationship management skills
The ability to think strategically and anticipate and capitalise on market trends.
