The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Associate to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and closing investment opportunities in the film and television industry. 

The role involves evaluating potential projects, negotiating loan agreements with producers, managing the closing of financial deals, and monitoring the performance of our investment portfolio. 

Additionally, the Senior Associate will be expected to leverage relationships across our group companies and support closings and legal work for Architect, Big Safari, Koala FX, and Creativity Media as needed. The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of the film and television production landscape, financing mechanisms, and market ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deal Sourcing: Identify, research, and evaluate film and television production projects that align with Creativity Capital’s investment strategy
• Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and production feasibility
• Negotiation & Deal Structuring: Negotiate loan terms with producers and production companies
• Transaction Management: Lead the execution and closing of financial transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and finalizing loan documentation
• Portfolio Management: Oversee the performance of active investments, track financial returns, and report on key metrics to senior management
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with producers, production companies, financiers, and other key stakeholders in the industry
• Group Support: Leverage the resources and relationships within the larger group of companies to maximize deal flow and support closings and legal work for Architect, Big Safari, Koala FX, and Creativity Media.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Film Studies, or a related field.
• Understanding of film financing, the production, sales and distribution processes, and key market players
• Experience in film and television production finance (experience in media, entertainment, or private credit markets is a plus)
• Proven track record of negotiating and closing deals and working closely with lawyers
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
