Senior Motion Graphic Designer

We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Senior Motion Graphic Designer, to join our busy design studio based in Kew, West London.


The post would suit someone who is self-motivated with a desire to stretch their creative muscle on a daily basis.

Chapter 3 Graphics is a renowned motion graphics and design studio located in West London.

We specialise in telling engaging stories through cutting-edge motion design, catering to prestigious clients such as Formula 1 Management, SailGP, BBC Sport, SKY, and Channel 4.

 

Our expertise spans title sequences & promos, branding, VFX, 2D & 3D animation to live graphics and data integration, all delivered by a trusted, multi-disciplined design team.

Role Description:

  • This is a full-time 4-1 hybrid role for a Senior Motion Graphic Designer at Chapter 3 Graphics working from our office in Kew
  • We have a hugely diverse portfolio at C3G and you will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of projects including quick turn around content where you will be working directly to the client, but also longer contracts where you may lead a team throughout the project
  • Ensure that projects are well managed and delivered on time, on budget and with excellence in quality and design

  • As a senior member of the team, you will be on hand to lend advice and share knowledge across the company, helping others produce their best work and enabling progression within the company
  • Have an active role in supporting pitch development for new business opportunities.

Your Skillset:

  • Minimum 5 years experience at Motion Design level
  • Background in TV / broadcast / film and live events, with experience of the sports industry
  • Experience of working on projects from end to end directly with clients
  • Experience of leading and managing a team to deliver graphics packages, titles, promos and other relevant projects for global clients
  • Strong skills in motion design and typography
  • Excellent knowledge of After Effects and the Adobe suite is essential.
  • You’re a wizard in Cinema 4D (or similar 3d software) and have an in-depth understanding of Redshift / Octane
  • You may also have experience/knowledge of any of the following: Unreal / Blender / X-Particles / Nuke or bring an interest to learn.

Details:

  • We work in the Broadcast industry, therefore this role may require a degree of flexibility and some occasional weekend working at events on site, e.g. Wimbledon, production studios, stadiums, UK and abroad
  • Lieu days will be given for any days worked over a five-day week
  • We offer the option of flexitime hours subject to project requirements.

  • ASAP on a staff contract.
