Reporting to our Senior Production Director, Film, the Cinematographer will support the EMEIA Sales Training & Programs team in producing exceptionally engaging video & audio content and managing studio production overall.

Job Description

We are looking for a creative, collaborative thinker with excellent aesthetic and a passion for visual storytelling. The Cinematographer can operate all aspects of video production: filming, editing and producing high-quality original video content as well as high-quality live stream video. This is a mainly onsite position, based in our clients studio and out of the Jellyfish London office.

 

Responsibilities:

  • You will ensure comprehensive video strategy on projects and lead pre-production process as required
  • You will take a concept and bringing it to life within the agreed framework by storyboarding
  • Schedule all tasks within the video production process and leverage internal and external resources
  • You will ccout, select and reserve shoot locations
  • Set up lighting, record and edit video and sound projects, interviews, b-roll footage, product screen captures, how-to videos and additional ad hoc requests
  • Capture and import media
  • Edit footage and sound files Create and insert static and motion graphics
  • Add music/voice-over/SFX/subtitles
  • Record subject from remote locations
  • Lead the production, camera operation and post-production for live stream and live stream recording video
  • Media management and archiving project media
  • Manage maintenance of video production equipment
  • Manage studio, setup, and operation of studio equipment on-location
  • Create and update technical standards and documentation
  • Actively participate in regular meetings to share insights and hindsight

Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of video production processes and activities
  • Proven track record of producing video through all phases of production while maintaining high standard of excellence
  • 3+ years of experience working in media creating captivating video content
  • Advances knowledge of professional cameras, shooting on iPhone, various HD and SD formats, preproduction/planning, studio and field production, lighting/grip, studio and location lighting, microphones and other accessories
  • Experience with both ""run-and-gun"" style and studio production
  • Excellent knowledge of small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track and waveform editing
  • Experience with still and motion graphics design, and video compression and multi-camera work flows
  • Expertise in edit/ post software and post-production digital video editing to include: Avid, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition
  • Up to date knowledge of the latest equipment, software, and web trends
  • Strong time, organisational and project management skills A diverse portfolio showcasing video and audio work.
