Sales & Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Assistant to work within the Zodiak Kids Sales and Co-Production Team.

You'll be responsible for financing and distributing the Kids programming catalogue internationally.

Zodiak Kids is a global independent leader in kids entertainment, combining Banijay Group’s dedicated kids production company, consumer products, digital and TV sales division. 

The company’s production arm is Zodiak Kids Studios, with offices in Paris & London, who produce animation and live action programming for a wide range of international broadcasters for audiences worldwide.


About the Role:

Working in the hard-working, fun and close-knit team you will report directly to the Sales and Contracts Executive.



  • Responding to sales enquiries from clients, checking availabilities in EasyTrack and sending screeners;
  • Following trends on client channels and sending out mail shots with new programmes that fit their portfolio; and, 
  • Researching the Kids television market.



  • Overseeing the sales process from contract to invoice to delivery of materials and the prompt handling of any issues that may arise:
    • input sales contracts information in EasyTrack;
    • coordinating signatures and sending hard copies of contracts and Legal Documents via CitySprint;
  • Ordering all broadcast materials and coordinating material delivery working closely with the servicing team; and,
  • Ensuring delivery of promotional material and programme paperwork to clients via the Zodiak Kids website.



  • Managing the Sales Team’s expenses;
  • Updating the client database, run sales reports and rights availability reports upon request;
  • Arranging diaries for TV markets;
  • Scheduling internal and external meetings as required;
  • Preparing agendas and documents for internal meetings; and,
  • Creating and updating documents/spreadsheets required by the Sales Team.



  • Assisting in the preparation of TV markets (MIPCOM, Kidscreen, MIFA/Cartoon Forum/CMC);
  • Organising and keeping track of materials for markets (roller banners, sales materials…);
  • Assisting with press releases as well as both internal and external general communications;
  • Liaising with creative agency for creation of ads, banners, e-shots;
  • Liaising with suppliers and external printers for quotes and orders (giveaways, roller banners…)
  • Coordinating artwork approvals with clients and Productions (internally or with third party IP owner)
  • Updating presentations and documents and Zodiak Kids website corporate for internal review on an adhoc basis;
  • managing Mister Maker e-mail box.


DIGITAL (VOD platforms):

  • Creating key art and thumbnails for TV shows on Photoshop/Illustrator;
  • Gathering assets, filling in required information and uploading files onto the platform;
  • Regularly sending updates and reports about the progress of the shows on the various platforms.


  • Liaising with other departments within Zodiak Kids on all matters;
  • Maintaining excellent customer service and relations with clients; and
  • Checking and responding to emails in colleague’s absence, deputising when necessary. 

Candidate Profile:
We’re looking for somebody who is positive, has a proactive attitude, keen to learn and assist in a detailed focused manner.

Knowledge & Skills:
  • Highly organised, flexible and motivated, with high attention to detail;
  • Proactive, self-motivated;
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and to strict deadlines, multitasking and prioritising own workload;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability work with colleagues and external clients in a friendly and confident manner; 
  • A good team player;
  • Attention to detail and the ability to develop and maintain office systems;
  • Knowledge and passion for television;
  • Enthusiastic hands on approach, willingness to immerse themselves into the business and wider company; and
  • Ability to work well within different computer programs and databases; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.


  • Previous experience working in an administrative/sales/marketing role and/or within a broadcast/production environment would be an advantage;
  • Experience or an understanding of sales/marketing would be useful;
  • Fluency in French is desired; and,
  • Photoshop and illustrator skills would be an advantage.
