Film Release Coordinator
Do you love documentaries? Are you a creative, organisational maestro?

This is an exciting position for someone looking to play an influential role in a cutting-edge film company.
The Company

Journeyman Pictures is a global distributor of documentaries, distributing films to TV channels, international cinemas, platforms like Netflix, iTunes and Amazon, and educational organisations around the world. You will also work on publicity, mainly social media-based, working alongside our filmmakers to come up with ideas and drive the creative promotion of our new releases.

You will be an ongoing point of contact for our filmmakers, keeping them informed of our activity on their films as required and handling any other necessary communications with them.

You will be responsible for all screening requests of our films, liaising with international film festivals, independent cinemas, universities and community groups to facilitate our films being played at their venues.

There will also be the opportunity to help with acquiring new films, through developing relationships with filmmakers, keeping abreast of festival releases and handling some negotiations.

The Ideal Candidate

You will need to have very strong communication and organisation skills to succeed at this role.
