DI/Grading Support Operator
We have an exciting opportunity for a DI / Grading Support Operator to join the Operations team.

Molinare is continually growing and evolving to ensure we deliver an exceptional post-production experience to our clients. We have been established in London’s Soho for over 40 years are one of the most respected names in the industry, specialising in episodic television drama, feature films, feature documentaries, broadcast factual and 4K, UHD & HDR productions.

 

The role – key responsibilities include:

 

You will be part of our talented team of Digital Intermediate / Grading Operators at our busy Soho facility. You will be responsible for our 2D and 3D Film and TV grading suites, and will assist and support our industry leading colourists. You will conform and prep material for the colourists, as well as producing the deliverables from the grading suites. 


The grading team work with state of the art toolsets, primarily Baselight, creating deliverables for clients such as Netflix, Amazon, Hollywood studios and global TV broadcasters and Digital Cinema operations. We run a 24/7 operations so the role will involve working on a shift pattern that includes nights, weekends and some bank holidays.

 

About you – Key skills and experience:


You will have experience of grading systems, preferably Baselight and/or Resolve. Digital file formats / standards and QC processes would be a bonus. Previous experience in an edit assistant or conform editing role is also desirable.You will have experience of common tape formats and decks, machine-room operations and editing systems as well as knowledge of digital film processes.


You will have worked in a role that has provided technical, operational and practical support for clients, editors in a production, broadcast or post production environment. Importantly you will be a great team player and strive to provide a high level, reliable, friendly frontline service together with the rest of the Molinare operations team.

Details: Salary will be commensurate with experience.
