Junior-Level TV Scheduler
Viasat World require a Junior-Level TV Scheduler.

You will be working on the scheduling of channel branding, continuity elements, on-air promotion, and time the transmission schedules for our Pay TV channels.

Eastern European languages skills advantageous - but not essential.

The Role


The role will be based within the Pay TV channels scheduling team, and you will be expected to help out as required within the team and the overall department as needed.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Schedule interstitials-based promo ratings and research on what our competitors do to keep the viewers between programmes and to grow audiences in applicable territories
  • Create a daily promo list, prioritising campaigns and time the daily schedules
  • Schedule fillers and programmes in TX-log
  • Execute any changes ordered by Senior Schedulers and On Air Supervisor
  • Make sure the compliance regulations are followed
  • Create house numbers for promos in BSS.

Candidate Requirements


  • Scheduling background and/or recent College / University graduate
  • Proactive, able to multi-task and with strong attention to detail
  • Process-minded, meticulous
  • Flexible
  • Highly organised
  • Knowledge of an Eastern European language would be an advantage.

  • Preferably some experience with broadcast scheduling systems such as BSS).
