Video Production Manager
We are looking for a talented Production Manager to join our growing team.

An experienced and exceptional organiser is needed to manage production teams across multiple titles.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Introduction:

As a key member of our successful Video Publisher unit, you will be working across a broad range of exciting productions – from corporate communications through to high-end branded content, immersive media and more.

 

Reporting to the Creative Director, this is a full-time opportunity for either an experienced Production Manager, or a talented Production Coordinator looking to take a step up.

 

This is an exciting role and would suit someone with strong production experience, ideally from an agency background, who wants to work at a dynamic, creative company in London. 

 

You will be responsible for the day to day management of productions, booking crew, organising filming and necessary documentation, managing clients' expectations, and staying on top of the production cycle by liaising internally with the producers and editors.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the crews, production schedules, call sheet, cost report and other key procedures associated within production and delivery of our projects
  • Overall management of projects, from pre to post, often on tight turnarounds and tight deadlines   
  • Document and troubleshoot projects and spot issues ahead of time
  • Liaising with colleagues and external clients
  • Keeping the production calendars up to date with the production process
  • Writing call sheets and risk assessments
  • Working closely with producers, post-production team and Account Managers
  • Booking travel and accommodation and arranging visa, locations permits and carnets
  • Regular travel may be required
  • A broad understanding of the production / post-production process is essential.

  

ABOUT YOU

Essential Requirements:

It is essential for the individual to have good knowledge of the entire production process from dealing with clients, producers, editors and content writers.  You will also need a broad range of  production experience across animations, behind-the-scenes brand videos and documentaries to TV spots.

 

We are looking for somebody with exceptional organizational skills who is able to keep on top of multiple films in both production and edit and help ensure deadlines are met.

 

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Production Coordinator or Production Manager in a production company or agency environment
  • Understanding of the full production process from filming to edit
  • Excellent communication skills and a flexible and friendly client management style
  • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to prioritise and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • In-depth understanding of the moving image process
  • Ability to adapt your skills and approach to a broad range of project types
  • Exceptional people and team management skills
  • A strong network of London-based crew and suppliers
  • Effective negotiation skills, experienced with managing suppliers and contractors
  • Experience of using project management platforms and webtools
  • Strong working knowledge of software packages including MS Office.

 

DETAILS

Rewards:  A competitive salary  will be offered to the successful candidate (£30-35,000p.a. - dependent upon experience)
