Senior Consumer Marketing Manager

The IMG Events Arts & Entertainment team are looking for a Senior Consumer Marketing Manager who will drive the marketing strategy and campaigns for The Big Feastival, Natural History Museum Ice Rink and London Bierfest.

About the Role

The IMG Events Arts & Entertainment team are looking for a Senior Consumer Marketing Manager who will drive the marketing strategy and campaigns for The Big Feastival, Natural History Museum Ice Rink and London Bierfest. Partnering closely with the Event Directors & Managers, they will execute the campaigns for assigned events to ensure they achieve maximum ticket sales. 

Reporting into the Senior Consumer Marketing Director, the Senior Consumer Marketing Manager will oversee the relationship with key media agencies and managing event budgets, as well as working with Digital and the Senior Vice President, Consumer Marketing on new projects, content and best practice.

Key Accountabilities

  • Alongside the Event Directors/Managers lead the strategy and execute the multichannel marketing campaigns for assigned events, working with Marketing team to achieve maximum ticket sales
  • With the Senior Consumer Marketing Director, lead ticket modelling and ticket sales/revenue forecasting
  • Work closely with ticketing department and ticketing agencies on the ticketing set-up for assigned events
  • Manage event creative development, website refreshes and agency pitches
  • Manage relevant external supplier relationships, such as media partners, stakeholders, agencies; contracts, delivery and review
  • Brief media agency on advertising campaign objectives and budgets, monitor the results of the media plan and work with the agency to adjust and optimise as necessary
  • Manage marketing budgets for each event working to find efficiencies, savings and greater ROI wherever possible
  • Work closely with Account Management team and Sales team to fulfil marketing requirements for sponsors and partners
  • Organise and manage the onsite box office teams for guest list, press, etc.
  • Work closely with Digital Manager to ensure marketing campaign messages and key timings are aligned with the digital and social strategy
  • Drive innovation and new practices, keeping on top of latest trends and competitor activity.


Knowledge & Experience


  • Proven experience of working in an events/ client-facing marketing environment with a portfolio of events where selling tickets is the key measure of success
  • Previous Senior Marketing Manager role
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationship with a range of key internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding and enthusiasm for marketing in practice
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines a must
  • Up to speed with current marketing trends, techniques and platforms is imperative.


  • Excellent commercial awareness and business sense
  • Relevant event experience, both at the planning stages and on site
  • Knowledge and interest in music and family events
  • Strong relationships with media owners and/or digital platforms.

Working Conditions

  • This is a permanent position based in Chiswick Park, London
  • Working hours are 9:30 – 17:30, Monday to Friday
  • Occasional travel/weekend work may be required.
