Business Development Manager – O4484

A great Business Development managerial role within the licensing arm of a leading provider of family entertainment, working closer with senior members, you will prepare forecasts, present to senior management, and manage all deal information in the sales pipeline. 

The COMPANY


Our client is the licensing arm of a leading creator, producer, marketer and broadcaster of family entertainment.


The ROLE


You will proactively contact suitable brands and kids IP owners, attend trade events and develop strategic proposals for existing clients.


Key Responsibilities -  


  • Develop business with key clients to deliver new revenue from services including further content management, production and paid media
  • Meet goals and objectives for new content acquisition, production and paid media deals
  • Create proposals and source insights, working with the data insights team and develop deal terms and manage approvals process
  • Identify growth opportunities for and communicate value proposition within the business and to clients
  • Collaborate to shape proposals and to deliver all campaigns to budget, meeting objectives and on time
  • Liaise with the production team on the execution of original content for clients; developing pitches, pricing models, and writing proposals  

 

The CANDIDATE

 

With experience in a similar role, you will have a strong understanding of media business, video advertising and production process alongside the ability to be a strong negotiator with a track record of sourcing and closing deals.


You will be a confident  user of Excel for modelling data, creating forecasts and benchmarking, as well as a strong understanding of PowerPoint, with the ability to create concise and exciting presentations.


Lastly, you will be adept at working to deadlines and achieving targets and will have a responsive and service orientated outlook.


Experience working in the kids’ industry or with toy companies would be beneficial.
