Post Production Support Engineer
Technicolor Creative Services UK currently has a rare opportunity for a Post Production Support Engineer within our Soho offices.

In this varied, complex and challenging role, you will be responsible for Monitor and Projector Calibration, as well as Traditional Video Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will manage LTO Tape Drives (Scripts and Yoyotta), while also managing our Digital Cinema Server Support and our Mac/Windows/Linux Support
  • You will provide Clipster, Venice and Spycer Support,  HD/SD Router Switcher Configuration and Maintenance plus Avocent KVM Configuration and Support
  • Finally, you will also provide Baselight General Support, Flame Support, VT Support and Maintenance, and provide system design.


Key Skills & knowledge: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field
  • Previous experience working in a high-end data-centric VFX, Post Production or entertainment environment
  • Previous experience installing, maintaining and upgrading Baselight, Lustre, Smoke, Avid, SAN, Arri, etc.
  • Knowledgeable about Linux, OSX, Windows, Networking, File systems, Colour Science
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment, prioritise work effectively, multi-task and understand the impact on Production and Operations in the case of an equipment failure
  • Able to communicate with multiple challenging stakeholders using non-technical language.

Finally, you must be flexible to work shifts and unsocial hours (evenings, nights and weekends).
